SUMMARY
The Rapid Ice Sheet Change Observatory (RISCO) is a collaboration between researchers at The Ohio Stat University's Byrd Polar Research Center and the Polar Geospatial Center funded by NASA. This web application showcases specific granules of satellite imagery from a host of sensors for rapidly changing areas in Greenland and Antarctica.
The application's functionality includes the ability to choose an area from the map and browse time-series imagery, complete with filtering, download, and playback capabilities.
As of 2014, the RISCO project is no longer active.
